A year of chasing down the good stuff

Sweet Sip started because we couldn't find the Monster flavors and Milka bars we grew up on anywhere nearby. So we started bringing them in ourselves — one suitcase, then one supplier, at a time.

How we got here

Twelve months, from spreadsheet to storefront.

Month 1

One suitcase, one spreadsheet

It began as a favor for friends — a suitcase of Milka bars and Monster flavors brought back from a trip, tracked in a shared spreadsheet nobody but us could read.

Month 3

The first 50 orders

Word of mouth turned into DMs. We started taking orders through Instagram and hand-delivering them after work, no website in sight.

Month 6

Combo packs became the thing

Customers kept asking us to pick for them, so we bundled a drink with a bar. The combo packs outsold everything else within weeks.

Month 9

Real import lines, not suitcases

Demand outgrew what we could carry back ourselves, so we set up proper supplier relationships to bring stock in consistently.

Month 12

Sweet Sip goes online

This website replaced the DMs and spreadsheets — real stock counts, orders confirmed on WhatsApp, and no more double-booked orders.

What we won't compromise on

The rules we've kept since month one.

Genuinely imported

Every item on the shelf came from an actual import run — never a local knockoff dressed up as the real thing.

Hand-packed orders

We still pack every order ourselves, so a combo pack means someone actually chose what went in the box.

Honest stock counts

If something's low or out, the shop says so. We'd rather disappoint you early than after you've paid.
